Default Trouble with 70cc hensim

I purchased 2 hensim quads for my kids at christmas. 1 a falcon 90 this one is ok a secound a 70cc this one has issues. I belive the strator iss bad . how do you find a place that sell parts. When i move the key switch to on the motor makes a buzzing sound and draws around 10 amps . The headlights work fine. Is there any place to get a wiring diagram. Does the bike use seperat coils for headlight. i will try tomarrow to run it in the secound position . any info will be very helpfull i live in nj. Is there a service center in nj . Also the headlights work without h=the bike running is this normal wbecause falcons only run when the bike is on

Default Trouble with 70cc hensim

If you are having problems with the Hensim Tierra 70cc blowing fuses, this fixed both mine. The Hensim Tierra 70cc atv has I believe six wires coming from the ignition switch. Remove the front cover containing the ignition switch, using an 11mm wrench for the acorn nuts under the handle bars and a phillips screwdriver for the front portion of the cover. Disconnect the wiring harness to the ignition switch. Of the wires leading off of the ignition switch, locate the brown wire (this is a problem in the tierra 70cc atv's). Either use a small pick and remove the wire from the wiring harness or cut the brown wire in half. Either way, be sure to use electrical tape on the ends to prevent any possible future shorts. This brown wire is not used in the 70cc and has been found to cause a short when the key is turned all the way back, thus blowing fuses. By removing this brown wire, you will eliminate the blowing of fuses should the key accidentially be turned to the far back position. I did this to both of my kids atv's and have not blown a fuse since. Hope this helps someone in the future.
