EPI sportsman clutch kit
#1
I just installed 27" ITP mudlite XTR's and ITP C-7 14" Rims on my 2006 Sportsman 450. I knew that I would loose power/gearing and I would like to install an EPI belt/spring kit and maybe different clutch weights to bring back more low end torque, but EPI does not have an elevation kit for above 3000'. Most of my riding is between 3000'- 6500'. I have installed a K&N filter and I plan on a dial a jet kit soon. Does anyone have suggestions on the proper clutch setup?

Hey before you buy the kit from EPI, check out the Heelclicker over at www.atvquadsquad.com.. These kits are very tuneable also.......Hook up with Cob over there with any questions.....

I INSTALLED THE EPI 58 GRAHM WEIGHTS AND THE LONGER ORANGE SPRING IN THE FRONT PRIMARY CLUTCH.IT HELPED ME GET THE POWER BACK THAT THE 29 INCH VAMPIRES TOOK AWAY.THIS SET UP ACTS LIKE A STALL CONVERTER ON A RACE CAR ALLOWING THE ENGINE TO REACH A HIGHER POWER BAND BEFORE ENGAUGING THE CLUTCH. 97 500 EXPLOER WITH PORTED HEAD HO CAM AND CARB WORK.
