air box drain sealing help?

well....i have my airbox snorkeled, the connection from it to the carburator siliconed and the top sealed but i still can get the top off...... im pretty sure im getting water in the box through the drain....what should i do to seal it but sitll be able to take it off?

im just wondering, but why would you want to snorkle a 250 2 wheel drive? i wouldnt think it would go very good in that real deep area unless your using it as a submarine. just curious.

I had a 300 kaw. Bayou 300 2x4 and with good tires on the back and big floaters on the front it use to be my river quad. It went through everything my sp would and more because thoss large tires in the front seem to float anyway.
I fianlly sold it a month or so ago because I didnt have it snorkeled this spring and I decided to swamp it.
