Default Warn 424

Will the warn 424 work on an 86 fourtrax 350d? Or can it be modified to work on this machine?

I also have an 86 Honda fourtrax 350 4X4 and was wondering the same thing. Is the 86 front drive shaft the same on any other Honda's as for length, dia. ect? Was it used on later years? Or should i just forget about putting on a 424 select on my bike and save my pennies for a new one

I had e-mailed them once before but i only asked if they had one for my model, and of course they said it is not listed.

So i've just emailed them back asking if another model will work on mine. So just waiting to hear back from them telling me no. I have a feeling that due to leagal things they wont recomend, or say, that i can use one even if they know it fits.

Not so sure they are such a great job
I installed one on a 450ES
Yes it was effective sometimes
No it kept slipping out of gear all the time
Frustrating
Are you from the dead centre of Eire

I don't believe anyone makes a driveshaft for the 1986-94 TRX350D .. They use a swingarm front & rear with enclosed driveshafts and a solid front axle ..

Not my experience at all! Mine has been on for years and probably a couple thousand miles, and it has always worked perfectly!

I did get a reply back from warn and they simply said no other unit will work on my bike. I also looked at the photos of the 424 and then at my bike and i see now that there is no way to even modify it to fit.
