98 wolverine smoking problem

Default 98 wolverine smoking problem

I have a 98 wolverine and it smokes bad untill it warms up..and even then it just smokes less. changed the rings a few times. not sure if the atv shop gave the right ones. does any one here know what the ring gap is supposed to be on the three rings? or does anyone know of a good service site.. i didnt see a clymer manual for it thanks

Default 98 wolverine smoking problem

Did you change valve seals, and/ or have a valve job done? Smoking when cold is a classic sign of worn valve seals on these bikes.
