Mine did it today as well. I noticed it when I reved it up to a higher rpm in neutral for a period of time. I was doing this to warm the engine so as to dry after I pressure washed it this afternoon. I just shifted it up to drive and back down and it stopped. It has done this before as well. No big deal as I see it.

Well the Service Mgr at my dealer was busy when I called today so the guy that answered didn't know. He told me that it's probably nothing if it seems to be fine and to buy a service manual to find out what it meant or bring it down and they can tell me. Gee thanks, Mr Obvious. LOL! My manual is on order anyways so I will find out when it comes in I guess. I got a CD manual off ebay but it's not real detailed for sure and it's not in there. My OE printed manual should be in this week.
Did you other guys get any better answers?

I forgot to ask, does this happen for anyone when the machine is in park? Seems mine only does it when revving high in neutral. Maybe this is to warn you that if it slips into gear it could leap ahead or backwards and kill someone? Just a thought.. lol

Ok here is the low down on the Reverse light blinking in neutral or park.
If you rev up the machine a few times or too many revs it will start blinking (warning light) it is just to tell you not to throw it in gear.
