wolverine brakes

Default wolverine brakes

i replaced the rear brake pads on my 95 wolverine and now i have a pin hole in the rubber piece that the adjuster screw goes through. any ideas oh how to fix this or am i gonna have to replace the whole assembly cause i can't find that piece on any website. thanks *****

Just the rubber dust boot? Some kind of glue or epoxy would seal that up.

i tried that but it is still coming out. and i can't get pressure on theline

That rubber boot should not stop you from getting brake pressure. You have air in your line.

Can you get a picture of what you're talking about. If you're talking about what i'm thinking of, there shouldn't be any pressure in there to begin with, which would mean you have a bad seal somewhere else.

If you're positive this is something that is supposed to be holding brake pressure, then there's not much of a chance any kind of glue is going to hold it for you, so you might as well save yourself the trouble and replace it.

thanks for the suggestion. broke the caliper apart and its the rear seal that is bad causeing the brake fluid to leak into the rubber peice i mentioned earlier. i've got a new seal set order hopefully theyll be in before the snow hits so i can have some fun
