My friend got a 1984 honda 200s, and one day he was driving it and the bike stuck open and he got ran over a few times. where the throttle cable goes into the engine it came out and stuck on the edge where it goes in, i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions onhow to prevent this from ever happening again. thanks in advance.

 

Replace the cable, and lube it once a month or so. How did he get run over? Doesn't it have a working kill switch?

 

Yeah he has a working kill switch, but it happened as he was going down a hill and at the bottom of the hill was his well so soon as the trottle stuck he was going fast and had to make a very sharp turn, and i guesss it happend to quick for him to even hit the kill switch, but lucky 4 him, the bike was stoped by a bunch of trees.
