How hard is it to replace the swingarm bushings on a 99' 400 ex ? About how many hours would a shop charge to change the bearings ? I am just wondering if I want to do this myself or have a shop do it.

wich one in the front of swingarm or im on the axle ????

its very easy to change it you're self it take about 1 hour its not hard

 

So, if you haven't done it before, a couple of hours to change the seals and bearing out to be enough ? Do you just remove the axle from the carrier and then bring the whole carrier to the bench and take it apart ?

order bearings seals and a repair manual. you can get a 3 for about 50 bucks total . and then do it yourself. it is very basic.

 

WOuld someone be so kind as to tell me of a website on line that has the pdf file for a 99' 400ex ? I mainly only need the couple of pages that tell the swingarm disassembly but would look at the whole manual if it was available.
