2 stroke oil, please help fast!!!

Can you use a boat, high rate, 2 stroke oil instead of the yamaha racing 2 stroke oil? My friend needs the racing oil for his YZ 250.

Please help ASAP!

i am pretty sure the oil has difference caracteristics to it.. i prolly wouldn't recommend it but i really don't think it would destroy anything?

I wouldn't chance it a YZ 250 deserves the right oil. If you don't want to use Yamaha oil find some Amsoil,Klotz, Spectro, etc.
