I am thinking about putting mud tires on my 03 400 auto. Should I do something with my clutch? Or can I change the spring?Is it difficult to do?

 

You will be fine if you get the same size tire.

 

I put 26 inch mudlites on my 06 400 auto. Big mistake If you put bigger tires on definately put a clutch kit on it. I did put one on mine got it from dennis kirk (epi for $94) it did make a difference but I don't know if it will be enough to turn 26's. The clutch kit was easy to do on mine ,no special tools. Took about 2 hours.
