You cant go wrong with either one. I own yamaha stuff but I like honda stuff as well. You can mod either one to do exactly what you want, its just a matter of money.

The yamaha will have that low end punch and is a little smaller and lighter

The honda will have that stretch of power and is a bit bigger and heavier

 

 

Thanks for everyones input. I was told that since occassionaly i will be riding with the wife trail riding in the woods looking at the scenery that i could possibly do some damage to the 450R motor do to lugging it.

Then later in the day I spoke with a dude who works on all these quads and is well know for how good he is through out glamis. He siad " that is bull crap he has taken his friens quads 450R included up to the sindars, river bottom, sand dunes and has never had a problem with them. He does suggest to break in the bike and after the 2nd tank of gas have him check the valves outl. after that check out valves once a year.


Over all the bike can handle what ever type of riding i choose to do i will get sic of changing gears while trail riding.
