2004 DVX400 performance and grab bar/nerf bar
#1
Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while, and wanted to join to ask for guidance as far as doing a little performance upgrades to my cat. I was looking at magicracing.com and I am wondering if these are the parts that I want or not, and if you know if the pricing is good, or where I could get better. I don't want anything extreme like big bore kits, just exhaust, intake, and maybe a couple of other simple things.
Yoshimura RS3 Carbon Fiber Full Exhaust System
$480
K&N Air Filter
$53
SRP CDI Rev Box
$100
Dyno Jet Kit
$50
That's what I'm looking at right now. Also, this is likely all I will ever do to the quad as far as performance. Please educate me on any changes I should make.
Lastly, I am looking for a set of nerf bars and a new grab bar. Both need to be strong. A friend snapped the flag mount off the stock grab bar and I have already broken an aluminum Pro Armor grab bar, so maybe a steel one? Maybe my only choice is to make my own? I saw a post of someone with a set of what he believed were A&N nerf bars that looked good and he said they were strong, anybody know about these?
Thank you very much in advance for the help. I really appreciate any opinions.
Nick
