Outlaw 525 to ship Tuesday (not here yet :( )
#1
Hey guys
Well we just finally got my buddies YFZ back together (after a crank bearing failure back in sept.) and now we're just waiting on water pump seals for it to be totally ready to run again. My other freind's Pred has new rings on the way, from a SEVERE overheat about the same time (mud in the radiatior... dumbass...) anyway, these components should be here by saturday, and guess what!!! The new outlaw will be shipping Tuesday and hopefully here by friday. This could be the best weekend ever! I'll try to break it in for the first 3-hrs friday night, get an oil change into it, then another 12 hrs of easy riding sat-sun, another oil change, and i should be ready to go. Can't WAIT for this thing. I'll post pics of it, both before and after i bolt up my add-ons. and you can expect a full ride review as soon as the show thaws, but for right now, i'll get some pics up of us on the MX track bhind my buddies place. nothin' like MX in the snow. Anyway, just excited, and the deposit i put down, who knows how many months ago is finally gonna yield a machine, so i'm psyched! I'll keep you guys posted... Hope this one doesn't do to me what my Predator did... lol.

Congrats on yours!
Mine came in last Friday after the long 2 month wait after the deposit.
Trust me, this thing is bada$$.
Fit and finish looks great. Almost did not want to take it out in the mud, almost.

Let us know how it works. I'd be interested how it does in mud. My son wants one, but where we ride has some serious rocky hills (some that 4wd has a tough time with) and water/mudholes. I don't want to be towing him out of every mudhole we see....

Since it's very snowy i'll have only a littl information, for the first bit, but i intend to race it in the michigan Hare-scrambles series with some guys in a racing team we're looking to start, so come about April, if everything goes right, I'll have a good real-world report, But this weekend, be it mud or snow i'll have a good impression on performance in slippery conditions. MXing in th snow also produces some off camber launches frequently due to wheel-spin up the face of a jump and kicking sideways under full throttle, so i can't wait to see how this thing deals with that. Again, i'll keep you guys informed.
P.S. I'll probably just add to this thread and put an (Updated 'date') tag in the title when i do. thanks

sorry to those hoping for an update and the promised pics. The Outlaw did not arrive friday as scheduled. I anticipate that it will be here early this week then (dealer's closed mon.) so perhaps the pics will go up this week, and the ride review after this weekend

I got mine and get rear A-arm skid if you have any rock one ride and $209 out the door. Polaris lied about not needing them. Get a 8mm allen socket for the oil change. the new shocks surprised me and have work well so far.
