Hello everyone, been reading for awhile,but have not ever posted, started reading forums for a carb problem ,but know I have other problems that I really need help with......I have a 97 timberwolf 250 2x4 that its not charging the battery..I put new battery on it ..will not keep a charge... thanks in advance for any help

Start it then disconnect the battery. See if your headlights still work. If they don't turn on, something is wrong with your stator or rectifier/regulator.
