Default sand tires in snow

which would be better for packed snow...screws in my stock tires or a set of sand tires. oh yeah, they will be for a z400 and my goal is to get traction in the snow so i can get speed for jumping.

Paddles work well in the snow. Definitely better than screws.

screws are more for ice. but if you dont ride sand or dont have a set of paddles get snow specific tires

My maxxis 4-snow tires are AMAZING!!! I am so impressed with them. I was killing all the 450s on my kfx400. I blew by them in the snow and consistently crushed them on the ice. The other guys were using non-studded holeshots and razr's. This is not due to skill either, the other guys are better ridders than I am. For the 45 bucks each ther 4-snow's are great. The only downfall is the tires get such good traction that you have to have a good rail-like front tire in order to take the corners well. I'm running razr's in the front so its pretty good. On feb 23rd I'm headed down to litttle sahara and plan on using them in the sand. Maxxis 4-snow
