Default Torque wrench?

How important is it to use a torque wrench when changing oil? On the old bikes we just tightened everything up.

Default Torque wrench?

thats a hard question to answer as "different strokes for different folks" as they say. i my self do not use a torque wrench in changing oil on my rubicon as just do it by "feel". down through the yrs i have tore many engines down (head, cyld. split cases, ect.) and there are times you definately need to torque to specifications. but to answer your question, i suppose it is important to torque down the oil bolt if you are not sure how far to go. i once stripped a spark plug on a old 60's aluminum head volkswagon and had to install a "helicoil" and that was no fun as i recall. lol
