Default How to make my cat purrr..

Well I have an 01 arctic cat 250 4x4 and its a solid machine. I just feel like whenever i buy used i am being robbed of power, and with a 250 4x4 there isn't much of it to go around So my question to you is what are some low cost ways that i can give this little a a boost of power? I can't spend over $200 as of now because the rest is being saved up for bigger atv this spring

I would save my $200 and buy the biggest machine you can afford in the spring; which is next month by the way.

Thats an option but the atv im buying (400ex) is selling used for about 2, 500 where i live. Im hoping to get 2k out of mine , and have 500 in reserve so i have this money in my wallet to spiff up my 250 to help sell it.

I don't know what kind of mods they make for a 250. You can go to speedwerx and see what they offer. You may also try EPI.

I'm getting a big bore kit put on my 250, bored out with a Wiseco piston and everything for under $400.00, on a 4 wheeler that's about the only way of getting more power. You might be able to re-jet the carb but I'm not sure. They ain't like a car, where you can throw tons of mods and gain good power.
