OK my sled is down to the local dealer for sale , he has a 2000 DS 650 that is a little rough for $2500 , the plastic is faded , needs front tires , the bars like can move if you pull on them straight up , and the throttle moves alll around like something is let go.....think i should stAy clear of it ? i mean its overall not bad but looks like it needs some TLC which Iam willing to give it. Oh the rear tires are brand new !

one prob with the 00 ds's is you will have to bleed the air out of the lines when doing oil changes just to let ya know...I got my 01 for about 2100 and it sounds just like the one you are looking at,but after about 7k into it it looks brand new...the engine is next on my to do list though.

Yea I read a while ago in your pro that you were hoping to get another ds...well I wish ya luck and you have experience with them so I am sure you know what you are looking at, but I would just try and bargain and see if you can get any money off or maybe a helmet or something

WHAAAAAAT?
I have an OO, and have NEVER had to bleed my oil from the filter area.
plastics cost about 300 bucks
new steering stem and handle bars, about 400 bucks
new throttle...about 75 bucks.
tell the clown 2200 out the door, in my opinion
Start it and ride it first though, to make sure there is no internal garbage going on in there
