Want to Sell 2000 Raptor 660
My husband and I are looking to sell our 2001 Raptor 660. It probally only has about 35 hours on it. Since my husband had neck surgery he is not really want to ride it anymore. Its been stored in a garage and covered when moved. Other than a few scratches on the plastic its a almost new. Can anyone tell me about how much I am looking at for a price to sell it for. Replies would be great.
Thanks

If it's in as good of shape as you say I would expect it to sell between 2k-3k here in Michigan. I'm not sure where you are and prices vary quite a bit from one area to another.
I'll save you some hassle and tell you that there is no 2000 Yamaha Raptor, they were not offered until the 2001 model year. There were some transmission issues with some of the 01 models that has lowered their value more than one would typically expect for a machine of that age and condition.

Maddog is right, you probably have a 2001 you purchased in late 00. you can go to www.nada.com and go to consumers, then follow the links to motorcycles then atv and click on the appropriate choices to get an idea of its resale value.

I know a lot of ppl that say stay away from 01 raptors....the tranny problems will likely hurt the resell value, but that bike is practially brand new so ya never know, just find some young kid to buy it, they always want the CRAPTORS
