I'm interested perhaps buying a diesel powered ATV / quad bike. Why diesel, because in this case that is the only fuel available in the area where it will be used (Nth Uganda). With the nearest parts supplier 2500 miles away it must be pretty tough.

Artic Cat, Roush, Massey Ferguson (the tractor people), Diablo and (.....?) all have models on the market.

Then there are the side by side utility RVs - Kawasaki's Mule, Yamaha's Rhino (appropriate name for out here) and the Polaris 6x6 (diesil powered?).

Anyone own a diesel quad, used one a lot, wrecked one? Any advice much appreciated.
