Honda 420 the best Honda made?
#1
I have ridden and owned several atvs of various makes and sizes, but have not found one that feels as sound as my 420. It has the perfect combo of power, handling, and comfort.
This weekend i rode with a KQ 700, big bear 400 irs, rincon, and several others, and felt that mines was as capable as any and handled the stuff we went through better than most. The ridding consisted of alot of hills, mud, deep water, and quick paced trails. We were two deep on mine and it pulled great on tight trails in 2nd gear sometimes 3rd with 26" mudlites. Mine will even catwalk on command unlike any of the others we were with.
Let me know your opinions of the machine.

So far mine has proven to be superb. If it was lighter, it would be close to perfect........
You certainly get more for your dollar with the 420, than any other quad on the planet!

I hope your right, cause I just got two 4x4 420 ESs (one for the wife). I've always rode sport type ATVs, getting older and decided I wanted to slow down and trail ride a utility. I checked out some of the big utilities and even though I'm 6'3' and 260#s, they seemed huge, bulky and top heavy after riding sport atvs. The 420 is fairly good size bike but I was worried about it having enough power for my size, that's definately not a problem. Some people bring up the negative points of the bike then say "it's just a fun dependable trail runner"..........great! that's what I was looking for.

hey if everyone likes it too much, honda will sit down and not want to make our lighterweight sport 4x4 we've been wanting to see!
i dont have one but am considering this one - for the price/features, it def seems like a good bang for the buck atv. but i thought that they handled bad IF you put the bigger tires and stuff on them?
i havent really looked to hard, but are there any performance mods out for these yet (programmers, bolt ons, etc)? I know its not a sport machine, but does that mean we cant blurr the line a little between sport and ute?
as popular as it is, i cant see the aftermarket NOT embracing this machine with some mods...
