Default 06 650 H1 auto vs. 07 650 H1 LE auto

Hello all. New to the forums, and to ATV riding. Purchased a '07 650 H1 LE auto in January, and absolutely love it so far! One question though, my buddy has an '06 650 and it's a lot faster at the top end than my '07. I'm assuming this is because of the Kawasaki motor in his? I have no problems with my bike's speed, use it for trail riding and breaking brush, however want to make sure I don't need to bring it back to the dealer because of the top end. Bike runs fine otherwise. Only hiccup was a blow fuse for the fan, which was obviously quickly fixed. Any input would be helpful.

Thanks, Ride hard, Ride safe.

If he has a 650 V2 then yeah, he is going to kill you in top speed. If he has a 650H1, perhaps the difference is that his is broken in.

When you raced, did you have one of them fat chicks on the back? That will definately slow you down.

Chumley,

Yeah, he does have the V2. That's what I figured it was. Thanks for the reply.
