Hi there. While out riding recently, my brother-in-law's 98 SP 500 would stall when going up or down and steep hill. We noticed that it was not just extremely steep hills either, some intermediate ones as well. I suspect a carb adjustment issue, but am not sure. Any ideas?

 

Maybe check the float level?
