Default plugs fouling??

i have an outlander 400 and its great. as you know, it isnt efi, and it needs to be choked when its cold out. my dad says that the choke is held on too long when i start it and let it idle and it fouls the spark plugs. anyone else with this problem? solutions? they are ngk plugs if it helps

thanks, ben

Default plugs fouling??

I Choke my DS650 in the winter time, i let it warm up just to the point that the motor starts to Rev very high then push the choke back in. My plugs don't wear out that fast how often do you have to change them. Maybe need a jetkit...

My 2 cents.

Default plugs fouling??

we have had to change them two times in the past month. i do the same thing as you with the choke, but sometimes it stalls and when i need to start it 3-4 times i think thats what ruins the plugs
