Default Outgrown the LRX 90 Now what?

I purchased an LRX 90 (same as Kasea) 4 years ago for my son. Made the simple mods: removed carb restrictor, good tires, higher gearing and twist throttle. The unit has been surprizingly durable. Only repair has been bent rims. I would consider another purchase of an Asian quad. My budget is around $2000. My first thought was a used Blaster. He also rides (and outgrew) an XR100 so shifting is not new to him. I welcome the input from the massive brain trust of ATV Connection forum users to help with my decision. In your opinios, are there any Asian sport quads in the 200-300cc range that would be as reliable and fun as a Blaster for a 14 yr old 5'10" 150 lb boy? Thanks

A used Yamaha Blaster or Honda 250EX. Both are great intermediate machines for older kids. You will probably have to work on the Blaster a bunch more than you will ever have to work on the EX.

If you're looking to buy another "chinese" type quad, I've heard really good things about the jetmoto 200. A friend of mine is actually considering a jetmoto for his son. If you do a search for jetmoto, I know you will find tons of threads.
