Default Price for new 07 Rancher 420 4x4 E?

I'm wondering what others have been paying for their new 420's? I just sold my ride today and plan to start pricing out 420's on Monday. I'm sold on the 420. It's a great updated machine. I have seen some people say they are getting them for under $5000 out the door for the 4x4 ES. This can't be right. The one price I got last week was $5800 out the door (meaning base, tax, title and freight). I live near Grand Rapids, MI but I doubt prices can be much different from state to state. Thanks.

Rancher 420 4x4 ES $4895 OTD
Tri County Honda/Yamaha
Petersburg WV
(304)257-4420

They don't charge freight or setup and I didn't pay tax because I'm not in WV.
Southern Honda has them for $4883 OTD.

Dealers back east must be desperate to make a sale. Out here, nobody is going to cut you much of a deal.

Those dealerships are the top honda dealers in the east and possibly the US. I talked to them when i bought mine, but figured i was going to get a warranty so didnt want to deal with all of that mess. they sell thousands atvs each year and work on the Walmart principle of mass purchasing at lower prices or in other words they buy and sell so many that they make their money on kickbacks from honda.

Its a Honda warranty, not a dealer warranty. It is honored everywhere.

As per the price discussion, the dealer in Medford, Oregon is selling all 2007 Rancher 420 models at a slight discount of $150 below MSRP. I'm picking up a new yellow 420 FM 4wd due to arrive at the dealership next week. MSRP is $5,299 , sale price $5,149 , plus License, title and DMV processing fees amounting to $115.50, for a total out the door price of $5,264.50, This includes a $10 ATV sticker issued by the state which is needed to use it in public OHV areas in Oregon. No sales tax here, they take it out of our hide instead by means of income and property taxes.
