Default Outty 800 vs Sp 800

Has anybody with the Outlander 800 raced a modded Polaris Sp 800? Obviously stock vs stock the Outty is faster, I just don't know how much faster. All of my buddies with the Outty 800's want to race my modded Sp 800 and think they will still beat it badly. My Sp 800 has a HSP cam, true dual exhaust, EFI kit and clutch kit. I can't wait to line em up!

Not sure since you have a custom cam and pipe, but I doubt its enough, I use to have a SP800 and it was ran a close race with our stock P700's. A pipe and K&N propperly jetted P700 would take it every time. A piped Sp800 with cams would un doubtedly help you but I have the feeling you still won't have enough. Let us know how it turns out.

Loon Lake SK, about an hour and 15 north east of Loyd. There was over 400 machines there last year and i only saw about 4 BRP's. the rally is on saturday may 5th, there is about 10 of us from around red deer and edmonton who go every year, leave friday at noon, get some riding in that night and the rally and quad pulls are on saturday. $20 for the rally, $20 for the pulls if you have the guts, and $12 for the steak supper. there is no where to stay in loon lake unless you bring an rv, some guys stay in loyd friday night and drive out in the morning, everything starts at about 8:00am. hope to see you there
