2007 Rancher ES 2wd

My father's bike..He seems to think on climbing hill's it's to light in
the front. The frontend want's to pop up on inclines..I took it out trail
riding this weekend and have to agree..Plenty of power with this machine though..
It does feel like it want's to tip back though..Just wondering if anyone else thinks
the same..What remedies if any besides a sand bag on the front rack..Thanks

That sounds excellent! It must be real easy to ride a wheelie with this ute?
Maybe I should get one.
Yeah, a sand bag will keep her down OR just install a good heavy winch up front. That will work also.

This is the kind of performance that sport quad riders crave!
He just needs to get use to it. He can use this to his advantage, if he will just learn some control. Simple things like sitting forward when climbing and just don't use so much throtle. The huge advantage, will be the reserve power available for hopping the front over obstacles and the like. Once he gets use to it and starts riding it harder, he may come to welcome it.
I have not ridden a 2wd Rancher 420 yet, but it sounds like my kind of machine. On the 4X4, you have 35 extra pounds right over the front axle where it does the most harm........

Thanks guys for the comments..It is easy to pop wheelies with.First or second gear without a problem...
My father want's no part of that though..He's in his late sixty's and just like's to take it easy..I'm the one that try's to
get him to follow me up the hills...I think putting a winch might be a good bet all the around...He is new to riding
and needs to get used to it..Thanks
