500 auto springs

Default 500 auto springs

i have a 2002 automatic and the springs are too stiff. there isn't an adjustment. anyone know where/how to get lighter springs than what are stock

Default 500 auto springs

is it the springs or she shock valving? you might check highlifter.com, and you can always have fox make you a set. trinity does a good job also.

FOX will wan the weight of the fornt and rear of the atv, and then they will ask you when typ of riding you do. and build a shock with the right springs and valving that you are looking for.. but.. it's gonna cost ya.
i had them build a set for me once. i took a FZR 600 street bike engine and put in an LT 250 frame. and had them make me a set. worked great though. like the engine was built for the bike. and a stock CR500 rear shock. we call it the death quad. :-)

its the springs. i can hardly move the springs when putting all of my weight on them
