My brother in law rolled backwards and smashed the rear of my Recon into a tree. He is fine (debatable), however the Recon needs a new rear rack and rear plastic. I have searched on Ebay and the local dealers explaining that cheaper aftermarket parts are fine. One dealer was very helpful and found an aftermarket rear rack for $97 but no after market plastic. She quoted me $153 for the rear fender section.

Questions are:

Has anyone used aftermarket racks on their Recon and how did they fit and look?

I found a place on Ebay that sells the entire Recon plastic kit for like $189 plus $40 shipping, anyone bought anything like that and was it OEM or ? Did it fit okay?
