07 500A/C after market oil filter/synthetic oil
#1
I am doing my first oil change on my 07 500 A/C auto and am looking for a part number for an interchangeable after market FRAM oil filter. Fram and Motomaster are the only after market brands available here. Also, I am planning on using a synthetic oil, probably Amsoil and would appreciate any feedback. Frase

Here are some cross references for oil filters for the Arctic Cat ATV?s. I would wait till you had about 300-400 miles before going full syn, id be sure to only use one made for use in motorcycles or it can damage clutch plates. You can also get a filter from the suzuki dealer.

Amsoil is an excellent choice. If you want to better that choice, get the Amsoil oil filter. Go to www.amsoil.com, and they will have a cross reference. You can order it there, thats what i do. The 05 500 AC takes part number EAOM109

I don't know, I still prefer the oil change kit AC puts out. One gallon of synthetic (I thinks its a blend actually) oil and a filter and I can still get them for $30. The most synthetic oil designed for a wet clutch system will be almost that then you still need a filter. Possibly a trip to another store. I still prefer to get the kit myself, but to each his own.
Also, if you just try to buy the AC filter it will run you about $15 if you add in a gallon of your choice of oil it is easy to spend more than $30. I do know that non-AC oil filters are way less than $15.
I bought 10 oil change kits a while back and the dealer I bought them through in Wash. State had them shipped to my house in Alaska. I paid $310 and no shipping. I think I have used 5 of them so far. Kind of made the wife mad but hey, making up is fun!
