Default Roncon Oil Dipstick

Somebody mentioned to me today Honda at one time had a recall on the Rincon Oil dipsticks....? Sound crazy...? I just put 3 litres (Cdn) in mine changing the oil, still only just abit above the lower mark on my dipstick. ......

How long did you let it run for then sit? You know that you cann't drive it then check the oil right. Far as I know there has been no recalls on ricon dipsticks

There was no recall on the dipsticks although there was a service bullitin abou them. When you do your oil change you let it run for a few min then let it sit for about 2-3 min. When you check the oil you unscrew the dipstick and stick it back in unscrewed. The service bullitin said the oil should be just above the top line. Not even or under. Thats all it was.
