Default '04 Trailblazer reverse override. Black wire doesn't work!

I'm hoping somone has an answer for me. I'm looking to override the reverse override button on a '04 Trailblazer. I've searched and found to pull the black wire on the black limiter box behind the oil tank. This doesn't work. The button still has to be pushed with this wire disconnected, but you DO get the ability to NOT shut off the quad! Pulling the black wire will not let the quad shut off by turning the key switch off, or by the kill switch on the bars. In a panic I went to put the black wire on while running...yeah...don't do that unless insulated as it shocked the livin fuggin pi$$ out of me. I had to turn off the gas and let the fuel run out. Put the black wire back on and it shuts down normally.

But, my problem is, I'm trying to get rid of this button. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

What about it? There is no information stating how to override the button.

Oh, sorry, man I didn't see any link you posted there. Perhaps I'm lookin at the wrong thread. I'm assuming you are refering to the recent Trailblazer reverse override thread.

I did it on my sportsman and I'm looking to do it on my trailboss as well. I have two black wires going to the switch. Is yours the same? I had to do my sportsman from looking at the wiring diagram. if I can get a diagram for the trailblazer or trail boss I will "git-r-done" and let you know.
