Tried to start my 700 today. It started right up then died after a few seconds and now I have nothing electrical.The battery tests good , checked the kill switch. The owners manual say reset circuit breaker but they dont say where it is. Anybody know where it is? thanks.

 

The only electrical componants I've found are under the headlight pod. Nothing I could see was resetable.I guess it goes back to the dealer.

 

The circuit breakers are self-reseting, thus the Polaris blinking lights syndrome. If the whole bike is dead I would start tracing back from battery, I do not think there is a fusable link, but if you trace back you should find the problem.

same thing happened on my 700,i found that the problem was the run-stop-run switch on the handle bar.it started on me for no appent reason,took switch of took it apart ,not easy,and putting back together is harder,but can be done.cleaned all components added some elec.grease,and fixed the problems.p.s watch out for little springs and little ball bearings ,if yo take that switch apart.good luck.

 

Thanks guys, Took it to the dealer Saturday. They called me Monday afternoon and said the ECM is bad. My wheeler is not part of the recall on the ECMs but Polaris is going to cover it anyway. Great customer service I think. Polaris is also taking care of my son in laws SP800 plastic body part melting issue out of warranty. And installing heat shields. Pretty cool

 

Another ECM problem!!!!!!...Polaris STILL don't have this issue worked out yet!!!!(since the recall)
