It's been a great run with the 2001 DS. . . Stock, Bolt-ons, Stage III to finally the Full 760 Pami. I loved the 760 but, it was time for a change and I've just been far too impressed with the new Raptor. I've been getting a lot more saddle time with my Wife's 700 and the nimble bike just brought on a new level of Fun Factor. Add to that, I've been doing a lot more riding with my Daughter - slower riding. A built bike just isn't as suited for that.

Lot's of good memories.

I've met some of the best guys with DS Day's, etc. It will take a lot more to separate those ties than it was to make the decision to sell the DS.

If you guys are still nice, I'll bring the new Raptor to DS Day's so you have a Raptor to pick-on!

Oh, she's a Limited Edition Blue Frame with White Plastic. . . and She is HOT!!!

BOOOO.
Just kidding, Tracy brings her Predator and we welcome her with open arms. Once a Bomb guy always a Bomb guy. Oh, maybe that doesn't go exactly like that but you know what I'm saying. Enjoy that new ride and if ya do make it back to DS Days I'm sure there will be an extra Pig or two there to take on a little spin.

LET HE WHO HATH NO SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE!!! Guess your safe, Mark! LOL!

I've got a buddy down the street that bought one of those yammi-hammers two weeks ago...sa-weet...the raptor has come along nicely since their debut for sure. We are all a bit irritated that DS hasn't brought anything new to the table to discuss...guess the rest of us are a bunch of easy to satisfy "old schoolers" for now.

Nobody's gonna have to tell you to "enjoy" are they? If so let me be the first...and hope you'll stick around cause you'll always be an "old schooler" even if you do have EFI...

LMAO! That is a strange mind to notice that, lol. Emoticons with hair would freak me out!

Mark - The Raptor 700 is the best thing going. I had 3 of them, just sold one. All they need is a +4 swingarm, 9 paddle 22" tires on 8" wheels and drop a tooth on the front sprocket and you will have a bike that will climb anything and you will beat 95% of single cylinder bikes out there on the occasion that you do go to a race hill with a bone stock motor with stock pipe. Put some good front shocks on it and hit the dunes.

Good luck!

Think it's probably the best quad out there right now. With the DS650 getting a little long in the tooth, the Yamy boys did that one right. Has just about everything they should have. Still don't think they handle like my DS, but darn nice machine.

ENJOY>
