i know its not the same but just use the $2000 the track kit costs and put it towards a cheap sled. I used to work at vincents (Seaforth) and i rode a few outty's with track kits. Not near the same fun level as a sled, where u can go virtually anywhere, smoke huge jumps, go much faster and ride the trail system.

i know that just tracks on a ute (my friend has them on his foreman 500) arent very fun, they only go like 40-50km/h

but how much are skis? probly only about 300 right? do you know where to get those?

I dont know were you can get skiis. Vincents sell the Apache track kits, dunno if they will work on the ds. You could probly use the skiis and shafts off a sled and take your hubs off teh quad and run the shaft of the ski between the top and bottom a arms and then like a sled, find some way to hook up your tie rods to the top of the shaft on top on your upper a arm. This is kinda how all the newer sled chasis work, but stronger. This probly wont work and its not a good idea unless you have an old junker quad or something lol.
