Much above idle and it stalls...Help!!!

Much above idle and it stalls...Help!!!
If I turn the headlights on, I can give it throttle. This leads me to believe, this is a voltage problem (too high). Anyone else ever encountered this problem? What part and where is it? Thanks in advance, Rob
