recon oil drain plug

Default recon oil drain plug

Can someone tell me where the oil drain plug is on a recon. Which side of the engine.

Default recon oil drain plug

Hit on the camera under my screen name. 17mm socket is needed and do not over tighten when reinstalling and if you have one I would use a new crush gasket.

Default recon oil drain plug

Uh, the drain plug is on the BOTTOM, not the side. Just look for where there is a big hole in the skid plate........

The one in photo 3 can be used an makes less of a mess if you jack the front end of the recon up.

The one on the side (left) is where you pour the oil in....

Got to wonder why so few people seem to have owner's manuals?????

Good drawings of all this and instructions in there....what's the deal???

Clymer service manuals are pretty good. But your manual from the dealer shows all this!!!! lol
