Default Electric shift codes

My '06 Rancher will not shift after the brake light comes on. Had to unplug all three brake light switches in order to ride. The code I am getting is two flashes, does anyone know what this code means?

first check your battery, the brake lamps being turned on put more load on the battery, possibly bringing the voltage down to low so the ECU wont operate correctly. Have it load tested to be sure.

Then, i would be checking your wiring. Seems like the brake lamp circuit may be shorted to another circuit feeding into the computer or something like that.

Found the problem. Thanks to the help from the guys at Lake Hill Motors. The problem was water in the plug in the wiring harness from the gear switch located up under the front fender. The brake light switches must also go through this plug, not positive about that, but that would explain why the gear switch would screw up only when the brake light came on. Thanks for everyone's help.
