In straight away or cornering?

 

My buddy has the Prarie 650. It's pretty fast off the line, and top speed is respectable as well. But, it is tall and heavy and has more body roll than a 1960's Cadillac. Flying into a high speed turn on the Prarie, isn't something I would ever care to experience....

One thing you have to consider is the weight to power ratio. The little 450 only weights just 350 pounds, where the Prarie comes in at over 600 pounds. Plus engine design. In the modern scheme of things, displacement is only meaningfull when comparing engines of identical design...and there is nothing similar about these two.

The Prarie might be able to jump off the line a bit quicker, but after that it's all 450...especially when you hit the first turn!
