alright, quite a bit of black water or whatever came out, if this solves the get-up-and-going problem then what have i got to do to get the shifter working again? it'll move but it wont like engage or whatever

ok im not sure about why it won't shift... all i know is that you have to hold your foot brake or the left hand brake to get it into or out of reverse and park. one more thing. turn off your gas petcock and open the little screw on the bottom of the carb that leads to the drain line. it is on the left side of the carb if you are sitting on your quad.. open it and a little bit of gas will come out along with w/e other crap is in your carb, which may be why it isnt running very well. just make sure you turn off the gas line other wise gas will keep coming out.

yea, thanks, ive done that. i think im just gonna bring it to the dealer and let them mess with the shifter since its still under warrenty. i think the running problem might be solved though, kinda hard to tell when it doesnt go forward
