My Eton stalls all the time, I think I need a carb
#1
Where can I get a carburator for a 150 Eton Yukon, this thing stalls all the time. I took the carb completly apart, cleaned, reassembled, saw nothing wrong, and it still does the same thing. Stalls when I come to a stop, or ride over rocky terrain.
Ive tried adjusting the floats up and down, runs better down, but I dont know the specs for it. The service manual I have doesnt help at all with the carb, and Eton them selves dont help at all.
The local Eton dealer has tried to help but he doesnt seem to know alot about the carb either. I dont think a re-build kit is gonna help, because every thing in looked good.
If I cant find someone who knows about them, then I think I would rather just buy a new one, but cant even find anybody that has them.
Can anybody offer any assistance?

Danvan,
I do not know if this will help but my nephew has a viper 90 and he had similar problems with his. I took out the spark arrester from the muffler. It was all clogged up and was restricting the exhaust.
Just a thought. I do not know if this will help.

danvan, replied to your other post. Could be electrical, mine was. Tried all the "fuel" fixes and this did not help. Check all electical connections. Might have something loose. Just to be on the safe side I am re-crimping all spade connectors.

Again one other thing to check is the clutch. My son's 90 viper would stall when he slowed for whoops or jumps. It ended up the roller wieghts had flat spots on them and would not let the variator shift down, so it would kill it. One other problem that we had is if the fuel tank is not completely full it will suck air when the terrane gets rough. During every MX race we run it on the reserve setting so it draws on the bottom of the tank. Both of these above problems huanted me for a bit until I figured them out. Not sure if the 150 is a cvt clutch but it sounds like flat rollers to me.

It ended up being the choke. I had replaced the choke with a new automatic one, didnt help at all. But once I ran the machine with the choke completely removed the problem was gone. Now Im gonna go get me a manual choke for it. The dealer did try to sell me a manual one to begine with, he said they had problems with the automatics, I guess he wa correct.
Thanks for the replys.

I went ahead and printed this out for future references. http://www.anythingatv.com/Tec...l/Troubleshooting.htm
The pickup gap was off on mine causing it to stall and not run properly. Sorry for the late response.
