hello. my friend has a honda 200x. im going to help fix it for him. it will only start if you pull it with the other 3 wheeler. it has only started maybe 2 times buy the kick start. he said he has set the timing but i think that might be the problem. it smokes alot but runs good when you start it. it fires right up when you pull it but with the kick start it has nothing. its like theres a spark probelm or the timing is off.
what do you think the problem might be.

going out ona limb here - but have you pulled the lead to the plug to see how strong a spark your getting?? might need to rewind the stator - just a guess here but i would start there to see how strong it is.

hello. good news. the 200x had good spark and the timing was all good so we push started it and sprayed carb cleaner in the carb and after that its always started on the kickstart
