Default steering post on the outlander

noticed when i bought mine that that steering was real tight(hard to turn). thought cause it was new new 800 same way. well here's what i found. i had to replace the steering column. so there's a mount that is under the computer. thats the main mount on the frame. when i took it apart there was no grease in it. when i put the new one i greased the inside of the bar clamp. there are 2 o-rings there to seal it and keep the grease in. man what a big big difference. streers really great now. even in the tight turns at slow speed. never heard anyone complain about this but now you know it's a easy fix. willl be doing the 800 soon.

Good info.

Do you plan on the Precision RP steering stabilizer? No more wrist stingers or breaks, or upper body pains in general.
