Default Rear suspension sag

Does anyone know what the proper sag/sit-in of the rear suspension on a Scrambler is? I want to see if I have my rear spring set-up wrong because I'm getting a lot of kick-back in the rear. If I'm going down a trail and hit a bump, it feels like the front end works fine, but the rear end will bounce up off the ground. Do I just need to have someone play with the rebound valving to help this?

i would check the shocks to see if there gone bad and wont rebound any more. just a thought. i would guess you wouldnt want much more then 1 to 2" drop when you sit on it. just a guess though.

What is the spring setting on? And how much do you weigh?

The spring is set at about a 1/4 inch from all the way soft and I weigh about 180 lbs.

I've looked through the manual, but I don't see any "sit-in" or "sag" recomendations. Does anyone know what they suggest?

I have noticed the same issue with my 2001 Scramber also. If this thread doesn't get an answer, I guess I will start decreasing the sag until it feels right. I have not actually measured the sag yet, but it looks to be at least 4 inches (static sag). I think most all the Scramblers come with way too soft of a rear spring.
