Maier or Fullbore
#3
I just picked up a set of Maier, doesn't seem like they put a whole lot of care into it, all the trimmed edges are pretty rough. but for $250 of ebay i'm thinkin it was a pretty good deal so far, should have it installed in a couple days i'll let you know how it fits.

That's an easy question. Fullbore. Maier looks nice at first, after you get done drilling all of your own holes to install it, hoping it lines up correctly and sanding down all the sharp edges.
You won't be disappointed with the fullbore.

Do not get the maier no matter what. It sucks! You don't get the air flow to the radiator, so it runs hot, they use cheap inch screws instead of metric, the battery does not secure becasue the compartment is too large so the cables break and come loose, there is inadequate mounting of the starter relay, there is incomplete modling in some areas that crack, crappy mounting tabs, it scratches easy, cheesy radiator access, it don't fit very well. I could probably think of more reasons. It only looks good for 3 rides. Not worth it!
Why not go with the stock plastic? There are dealers that sell a complete set for like $429 on ebay. Yamaha of Troy, I think. This is the best quality. It will keep the value up.
