Default aclander 150 gy6 belt problem?

I have a 150 alcander atv with the gy6 motor in it. My question is when i have been riding for a hour or so it seems to loose power the motor still reves good. If i get it wet it seems to do the same thing. Could it be the belt, if so is there a way to tighten it. Also where can i find a manual to download for the 150 gy6.

There is no way to tighten the CVT belt on a GY6 engine (well there is, but it involves changing to a stronger clutch spring that grips the belt tighter). The belt will slip if the CVT and/or belt get wet on a GY6 engine. But when dry, it should not slip. Do you smell burning rubber at any time? You may just have a worn out belt, clutch, variator face or rollers. You can get a GY6 engine manual on ScootDawg dot com (click free downloads) and BuggyNews has a manual forum.

Belt size is 743-20-30
Most stock belts are junk.
I'd suggest either a Gates Powerlink or Bando.
