300ex questions
I was riding my quad yesterday and it seems to be running very hot, at one point i went to climb a hill and the thing totally bogged out then i would start it try to get going and it just wouldn't it would die out go but it would idle fine and once i let it cool down it would ride fine until it go so hot again...could my fluids be low? is there anything i can check maybe oil levels or coolant? im a novice so i cant really diagnose anything myself but any help would be greatly appreciated

Hmmmm, usually I'd say the main jet is clogged, but if it runs fine while it is cool it has me confused.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
How long will it run fine? Like just a minuter, 10 minutes?

more then 10 minutes, I mean i was riding it hard and then the first time i went up one hill it was bogging down then the second time i was really giving it hell and it just bogged down n died, but it starts up fine and idles fine, when i put it in gear and go to take off it its like wwaahh waaahh then dies out, i just started it up now that its cold and no problems

Have you checked the tank vent tube? Not familiar with the carb on that model, Moto, does it have vent tube on the carb as well?
