Honda is loosing.

I have riden Honda since I was a child and always believed they had the best of products. I just purchased a new 4 wheeler so naturally I purchased a Honda. I put 28" outlaws on the quad with the winch and works and took it to Mud Nationals in Texas. I was embarressed at how every Honda was not keeping up with the other manufactures. I started to believe I would put high performance parts on my bike but Honda does not get in to the type of riding I am doing. I am giving the bike to my daughter if I can not pay to make it better. Maybe the Honda 500 foreman is better suited for a yard quad to ride and get news papers. I am looking for a way to contact Honda directly to see if or why they are not interested in keeping up with Yamaha, Kawasaki or Artic Cat. Please Help.

Mud wallowers are a minority of the total riding population. Some manufacturer's may indeed be catering to that market niche....but Honda appearently hasn't and that's no big deal to the vast majority of riders. You picked the wrong tool for the job!

I noticed that a lot of first time buyers always go for honda. So they think its the best company ever. I'm not against honda in any way but to me their utility quads arent the best for working. I know lots of ppl with hondas, new and old and they are just best suited for trail riding not used as a work horse.
my uncles 1995 suzuki 300 kingquad with low and super low gears will haul soo much more then my aunts 2003 honda foreman450. The honda just sits there and wont move in first gear.
i'd only buy an honda trike, 250r quad or the new 450rs. Id have to go suzuki or kawasaki for anything else(4x4s,dirtbikes,street bikes)

And when you bought it, did you tell the dealer what kind of riding you were going to do?
I assume you're towing this to events with a Geo Metro.

Yesterday we get the 450R buyer who did not even fire up his machine at dealers and is upset at Honda because he did not get to ride. Now we get the 500 Foreman buyer who did no research before purchase and is upset at Honda because his ride won't keep up with Cat's, Grizzly's, or Brute's in the mud. Two examples of learning a lesson the hard way. Not one thing here is the fault of Honda.

The Foreman is made for work. Period. It can be trail ridden but it is MADE for work and it will do so for years and years.

You can pay to make it better but the money would be better spent on a big bore IRS quad.
But I really don't think you are worried about it. You start a post with a name like that and a topic written that way. You are just here to stir people up.
